A decade of live operations, coordination and on-site delivery

Before working in festivals and immersive events, I spent ten years delivering live sport in broadcast and public-facing environments.
My roles focused on live operations, run-of-show, and on-site coordination, working closely with officials, venues, broadcast teams, emergency services, and large event workforces. Sport is an environment where events unfold in real time, decisions are immediate, and there is no margin for error.
I worked across elite sporting contexts including the AFL and international and national motorsport, operating within highly regulated, safety-critical environments and temporary public-domain settings.
This period shaped how I work today, calm under pressure, precise in planning, and focused on clear communication and accountability. The operational discipline I developed in sport continues to underpin my approach to festivals, heritage venues, and complex cultural events.
